2023 Vertical CURE PARTICIPANTS

CONGRATULATIONS to the 2023 Vertical Cure community, for hosting its most successful weekend at Mammoth Mountain on April 1, 2023. 

Participants battled howling winds to ski 586,574 vertical feet and raised an AMAZING RECORD AMOUNT OF $47,000 to support our mission!! 

In total, over the past 22 years the Vertical Cure community has raised over $625,000 for the Scleroderma Foundation of California! 

This year’s Joey Merten was the overall leader skiing 26,435 vertical feet. Jenn and Rooney Beatty were the top women with 21,045 feet. Under 12 youths Cullen Chaky and Hunter Tatala skied 18,350 feet. 

TOP TEAM DONATIONS:

Were led by “Team Papa John” who raised an amazing $14,370. “Staying Stoked with Scleroderma” raised $9,480, followed by “The Corman Family” who raised $5,940. “Frammoth” had a great showing raising $3,300. “Team Chaky/Team Berry” raised $2,625. “Team de los Reyes” added another $1,285. An excellent effort by all our teams.
